A society for students at the University of Oxford who share an interest in motorsport — from Formula 1 and engineering to karting and the wider automotive world.
Who We Are
The Oxford Motorsport Society (OMS) is a student-run society at Oxford, established to bring together those with a passion for motorsport in all its forms. Whether you are a dedicated follower of Formula 1, an aspiring automotive engineer, or simply curious about the sport, OMS offers a community for you.
We welcome students from all courses, colleges, and backgrounds. No prior experience or specialist knowledge is required — only a genuine interest in motorsport and a desire to connect with like-minded peers.
Our activities include race watch parties, speaker events, socials, and spectator trips to motorsport circuits. We are registered with the University of Oxford and operate under the University’s student societies framework.
